As the hockey world reels from the death of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew, information started to come out regarding the circumstances behind the fatalities. It was learned that a driver who was allegedly under the influence tried to pass around some idling vehicles who were allowing the Gaudreau's to pass on their bicycles; he ended up fatally striking both brothers.
As you can see in the video above, Higgins audibly sighs when told he would be detained longer than he expected. Not understanding the severity of the situation is one thing; to play victim and whine after you've killed two people due to your brazen stupidity? Disgusting.
