GoFundMe set up for Matthew Gaudreau's widow Madeline reaches incredible milestone

The GoFundMe page for Madeline Gaudreau, the widow of Matthew Gaudreau who was tragically killed last Thursday has reached a huge donation milestone in less than a week.
As the hockey world continues to wrap their heads around the senseless tragedy that claimed the lives of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau at the hands of a drunk driver, the support for the families of the two men has been nothing short of heartwarming.
The GoFundMe Gaudreau was set up to help Madeline as well as her and Matthew's unborn son Tripp and in less than a week the goal of $30,000 was smashed tenfold. The current amount is $537,665 with donations coming in from family, players, former coaches, front office staff all working together to ensure the comfort and future of both Madeline and Tripp.
The donations will be used for not only any funeral expenses, but to allow the family time to grieve without worrying about any financial burdens or barriers and is a little bit of light in this dark story.
