Former NFL player tries hand at slinging the biscuit during NYC Fanatics Fan Fest

This weekend is the NYC Fanatics Fan Fest, celebrating a cacophony of sports from all over, bringing celebrities from new Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews to WWE Superstar CM Punk; and of course Gronk had to be there. Never one to shy away from the party, he decided to try his hand at some good ol' fashioned hockey.

Gronkowski was seen shooting left-handed and with a snap shot-esque follow through. He was aiming at a stacked washer/dryer combo in an homage to Sidney Crosby, and though he may have gone wide right a few times; he put it in the uprights and had a blast doing it.

Now let's just hope he doesn't go for a Gronk Spike if he ever scores a goal; the stick would be oliberated.
