Agent who represented the Gaudreau brothers releases statement regarding their passing

While it's been a week since Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were tragically killed; the tributes continue from all over. The Gaudreau's agent Lewis Gross is one of them, releasing a statement Thursday.
Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were tragically killed when a driver under the influence struck both men while they were cycling in New Jersey last Thursday. The hockey world and their families continue to mourn this tragedy and for some it's been tougher to cope with than others.
Lewis Gross, agent for both Gaudreau's, released a statement through X about his thoughts and reflection on both men and the impact they made on not only himself, but everyone around them.

Perhaps the most poignant quote came towards the end of the statement:
"These two boys taught me so much. They taught me what family really means. Meredith and Madeline, Jamie and I will always be there for your kids. I promise you that just as I promised Guy and Jane [Gaudreau's parents].
To the entire Gaudreau family, I will always be here for you as well. You are family. That is what John and Matt would have asked me to do.
John and Matt, not a day will go by when I won't miss you two.

It's a terrible tragedy that took the lives of these two young men, and our hearts and condolences go out to the entire Gaudreau family during this time.
