TSN Analyst Gord Miller is facing some backlash after defending Anthony Duclair and how he's been mistreated by Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello.

Duclair, who proudly has worn his hair in dreadlocks and also signifies part of his culture and heritage, posted to his personal Instagram account with a smiling crying emoji in a sarcastic response to having been asked to remove his hair.
While Duclair has played with short hair before, it was more of a personal choice to keep it short; and he could have very well played with locks for any of his previous teams.
Lamoriello has always ruled his teams with an iron fist, and tries to instill an old school method of "keeping up appearances" much like the New York Yankees in the MLB who ensure players do not have any facial hair, and keep themselves proper; a tradition that has gone on for decades.
TSN mainstay and commentator Gord Miller disagrees with the decision, standing up for Duclair's rights to control his own hair.
The statement is a noble one, and it's clear that Miller is progressively thinking, even though this issue should be a non-issue; it's a player's hair. Let them be who they want to be, it does not affect their on ice performance. But not everyone agrees:
Although Miller has his detractors, there definitely are a few that have his back and believe Lamoriello's policy is out of touch.
No matter what side of the coin you sit on; can't we all just enjoy the beautiful game of hockey?
