As posted by the Blue Jays official X account, after a fan interaction where he signed a baseball, he offered to give the ball to the boy for one simple thing: his Toronto Maple Leafs hat.
Clearly Vladdy wants to rep the Blue and White regardless of what sport it is, and it's just another heartwarming fan experience that Vladdy gives day in and day out. But it wasn't long before the Maple Leafs caught wind of the gesture and ensured that Vladdy walks away with something that he surprisingly doesn't have yet: a jersey.
Jokes aside, it's a wonderful bit of synergy from two polar opposite sports that share a home. It brings a reminder of the old Mats Sundin/Vince Carter crossover from the early 2000s. What a beautiful show of respect from both sides; now let's go win Vladdy a Stanley Cup!
