Odds have Toronto Maple Leafs near favourites to win Atlantic Division

It wasn't a Mitch Marner trade sized level of shakeup in Toronto, but a new identity focused on bigger bodies who are willing to get down and dirty while also maximizing their potential in other facets is enough to get Toronto in second place behind the Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers. The rankings are as followed:

Florida Panthers: +200
Toronto Maple Leafs: +275
Boston Bruins: +500
Tampa Bay Lightning: +600
Ottawa Senators: +1100
Detroit Red Wings: +1200
Buffalo Sabres: +1500
Montreal Canadiens: +7500

It looks like it's going to be a head to head race between the Leafs and Panthers this year, with Boston and Tampa giving them the best run for their money before it drastically falls off with Montreal at a staggering +7500 to win the division which would be a fun bet if you had $5 to blow; that could turn out to be a cool $380 in your pocket.

It remains to be seen if these moves translate into a payday for those in the sportsbook game, but for Leafs Nation at least: it seems to be an exciting time and will be fun to watch the team fight for supremacy. At least atop the division.
