The first game of the Leafs/Bruins series was a write off for the Leafs, but it looks like mum is the word for Sheldon Keefe moving forward.
When it comes to sharing information about injuries, the players and the coaching staff in Toronto may be looking to adopt Brad Treliving's message of silence. Nobody saying anything.
Nylander's injury status continues to concern fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs, especially after a difficult 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Boston Bruins.
The offense wasn't the issue, but they struggled to convert on grade-A scoring chances, something that Nylander could have aided with.

Last night's contest was the first game he's missed since the 2021-22 campaign, so if he couldn't make it to the first game of the series, that could be a sign that something's really bothering him.
Brad Treliving approached Sheldon Keefe and the coaching staff before the playoffs and advised them not to disclose too much information about injuries.
Leafs foward Calle Jarnkrok's comments from Saturday and Jake McCabe and Ryan Reaves' comments from Sunday show that the players are following suit with the message from Treliving as well.
Sunday was the first time Nylander had been on the ice since the regular season finale against the Tampa Bay Lightning, according to NHL insider Chris Johnston.
It remains unclear whether Nylander will be ready for Game 2, but it is a good sign that he is progressing.
Seeing him practicing - even at an optional skate - is a silver-lining because having him back in the lineup is of the utmost importance.
Nylander had produced just 1 goal and 5 assists over his last 13 games. But, even with his struggles, the special teams might have been the area where the Leafs missed Nylander the most on Saturday.
The spotlight on the power play is still on Nylander, but he's also stepped up his game on the penalty kill.
The Maple Leafs went 0/3 on the man advantage and allowed 2 power play goals in Game 1. His inventiveness on both ends of the ice was overlooked, and if he remains sidelined, it's something the Bruins will be looking to capitalize on going forward.
In the final 40 minutes, the Leafs outshot the Bruins by 25-12, but the Bruins were the ones who capitalized on their chances, scoring 4 goals in the final two periods.
In 20:53, Auston Matthews had five shots on goal, Mitch Marner had two shots on goal, and John Tavares had six shots on goal. Yes, the shot volume is there, but they certainly miss Nylander's creativity.
