Max Domi posts touching tribute to Johnny Gaudreau in recent social media video

Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau were tragically killed in New Jersey on Thursday night after a drunk driver struck them while they were cycling; sadly one day before they were due to be groomsmen at their sister's wedding. Tributes have come from all over the sports world, with several professional sports teams posting condolences; from the MLB and NBA; even the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau offered his condolences.

But one social media post has brought tears to many eyes; and that's from Maple Leafs forward Max Domi.

The video is heartbreaking, as it shows how humble and gracious Johnny and Matthew both were for their opportunities, and for the memories they created for fans, family, and friends alike.

While teams prepare for training camp, it wouldn't surprise me to see Columbus, Calgary or perhaps the entire league adopt a patch or symbol to memorialize Gaudreau; many have made the argument for the Lady Byng Trophy to be renamed after Gaudreau; given his gentle and humble nature and for his true gentlemanly persona.
