Cowan, the Maple Leafs top prospect is looking to make a huge impact when camp opens up and try to solidify his spot on the main roster. As the offseason winds down, many players are reflecting and reminiscing on the various events, activities and vacations they had.
Easton Cowan was no different, posting a variety of different shots of him travelling in Toronto, golfing, hanging out with family and shooting some pool. It was during the game of billiards that something caught the eye of Toronto Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies and he decided to be a bit cheeky.
Knies commented "Framed my jersey" as a dig at the prospect, who clearly holds the sophomore forward in high regard. It seems the brotherly love is strong already between the Leafs and their prospects, and Cowan will have a chance to build off his monstrous season with the London Knights and could find himself alongside Knies at some point in training camp.
