With less than four weeks remaining of the offseason and training camp set to begin, Toronto Maple Leafs defensive prospect Noah Chadwick is preparing to challenge for a roster spot.

Leafs reporter Kyle Cushman of the score has shown several metrics that they have measured Chadwick on where he stands in terms of transition, defence, space creation, passing and shooting which all have been given extremely high marks.
Must read on MapleLeafsLatest
Chadwick who currently plays for the Lethbridge Hurricanes was drafted by the Maple Leafs in 2023, 6th round, 185th overall. Standing at 6'4 and weighing 201 pounds, the 19-year-old defenseman has great hockey IQ and appears to be a great prospect and could be one of the key players for the Maple Leafs going forward.
In 2023-2024, Chadwick played 66 games for the Hurricanes and scored 12 goals with 44 assists for 56 points while having 24 penalty minutes finishing with a +13.
The Maple Leafs continue to analyze their prospects and to see if many will be ready for either the Maple Leafs or the Toronto Marlies. It seems that if Chadwick can show that he is ready for the professional league, it's likely he will begin his career with the Marlies with a small look by the Leafs in the early part of the season and could find himself suiting up for several preseason games to get a feel for the big time.
