Becoming the PA Announcer in 2016, he followed in the footsteps of Andy Frost, Paul Morris and legendary voice of their old stomping grounds, Maple Leaf Gardens: Red Barber. He began his career as a volunteer for Carleton University's CKCU radio station before transitioning to a career in Toronto starting in 2001.
He would continue in various roles throughout his career for the NHL as well as SiriusXM Radio before becoming the voice of Scotiabank during Maple Leafs games. Ross also provides a bit of memoribilia to fans, often seen giving his scorecard away showing who he gets to announce as the traditional '3 Stars' of the game.
