Maple Leafs prospect Brandon Lisowsky is dropping a lot of jaws in the Western Hockey League this season. The 18-year-old winger from British Columbia has put up impressive numbers while playing with the Saskatoon Blades, including a hat trick against the Spokane Chiefs yesterday.
As shown in the tweet above, yesterday's hat trick and 5-point night now has Lisowksky sitting at 37 points in 28 games this season. According to Elite Prospects, he has ten goals, and seven assists in his last ten games played, not bad for a 7th-round (218 overall) pick.
Something nice to see, too, is Lisowsky carrying himself well during media sessions. He's well-spoken and insightful when talking about his performance and what has to be done to achieve such numbers.
Despite not being the most well-known Leafs prospect, Lisowsky is sure making a name for himself, and it'd be nice to see him continue to do so before making his NHL debut.
