Former Maple Leafs prospect Keith Petruzzelli

The Philadelphia Flyers' AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms announced the signing of a former Maple Leafs goaltending prospect.

On Thursday, the Phantoms posted on X confirming that Keith Petruzzelli had been signed to a 1-year deal.
Petruzzelli spent four years between the pipes at Quinnipiac University where he amassed a 51-27-8 record before sigining with the Newfoundland Growlers in 2021. His play led him to the Marlies where he posted a decent 22-17-4 record but struggled this past 2023-24 season with a 3.55 GAA and .867 save %.
He will have some competition as the Flyers have several young netminders also looking to vie for their chance to lead the team to glory.
